Luke Humphries, born on February 11, 1995, is a professional darts player hailing from England. He actively participates in Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) events and currently holds the prestigious titles of World No. 1 and World Champion. Dubbed “Cool Hand Luke,” a nod to the 1967 film, Humphries is the reigning champion of the World Grand Prix, Grand Slam of Darts, and Players Championship Finals. Additionally, he secured victory in the 2019 PDC World Youth Championship.
More recently, Humphries clinched a 7-4 victory over fellow Cheshire talent Luke Littler in the final of the PDC World Darts Championship. As a recognition of his achievement, he received an invitation to meet Prime Minister Rishi Sunak at Downing Street.
