November 2024 sees MODUS and MDA Events, in association with Winmau, host an intimate Evening with World Champions at the Mattioli Arena, Leicester.
Michael van Gerwen, a three-time PDC World Champion, will meet reigning PDC World Champion Luke Humphries in the East Midlands, in what promises to be a spectacular evening of entertainment.
Michael has won over 150 PDC titles worldwide and is considered one of the greatest dart players of all time, while Luke has enjoyed a stellar recent hot streak in the sport, winning the PDC World Grand Prix, Grand Slam and Players Championship Finals in 2023, before lifting the iconic Sid Waddell Trophy with a 7-4 win against Luke Littler at Alexandra Palace in January 2024.
The duo will be joined by two more World Champions on the night.
Three-time Lakeside World Champion Glen Durrant, and 2008 Lakeside Champion Mark Webster, will also be in action in front of a packed crowd.
Glen won three Lakeside crowns on the spin from 2017 to 2019, before moving to the PDC and capturing the Premier League in 2020, while Webster’s finest hour came in his 2008 Lakeside World Championship win against Simon Whitlock in the final, and the Welshman also reached PDC World Cup finals in 2010 and 2017 and appeared in the Premier League in 2011.
Sky Sports Darts presenter Emma Paton will oversee the evening’s proceedings.
